National Rural Electric Cooperative Association

The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) is a trade association representing interests of the various electric cooperatives across the country. NRECA member companies provide electricity for “75 percent of the nation’s landmass and account for approximately 12 percent of total electricity sales in the United States.”


Kivvit and ASGK Public Strategies Contracts NRECA also contracted Kivvit in 2015, the new PR firm that came out of the 2015 merger of ASGK Public Strategies and M Public Affairs. Kivvit and ASGK have had consistent contracts with NRECA starting in 2014 and continuing into 2017, earning $2.5 million between the two firms. Kivvit created a series of videos for NRECA titled “NRECA: Rural Power.” The videos support NRECA’s Rural Power campaign, which is designed to encourage rural Americans to vote in elections. The ads show Rural Power campaigners attending both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump campaign events.

Danielle Corbin Contracts NRECA’s highest paid advertising contract was with Danielle Corbin, the principal at Crowne Professional Media Sales LLC. Corbin contracted with NRECA every year from 2008 to 2017, except for 2014 and 2016, garnering a total of $3.1 million for “magazine advertising.” Danielle Corbin Total: $3.6 million
